The Boro Business Lab presents

benefiting Isaiah 117 House

Like a totally awesome time!

Everything you need to know...so you don't
have a cow!

Dress Code – The dress code is fun, not necessarily formal. So wear whatever 80’s get-up you want. Whether that means bringing out your old beloved prom dress/suit or dressing up as Run-DMC or Madonna, we can’t wait to see what you rock!

Food – Hors d’oeuvres and desserts are provided by our friends at The Alley. If you want to eat before the prom, here’s a link to find all the totally radical food spots around the downtown square: https://mainstreetmurfreesboro.org/downtown-businesses/

Time – The prom will be bumpin’ from 7 pm-11 pm. Need to chill afterward? Come next door to our after-party at 224 W Main St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130.

Parking – If your mom lent you the station wagon for the night, street parking is available along with a parking garage one block away. There is no parking directly in front of the venue. Need more? Here’s a map to help.

Don’t Miss Out – Make sure you stay until the very end because we have a GNARLY surprise in store for you that you don’t want to miss!

Selfies – As you approach the Boro Prom, there will be rad photo ops to get pictures. (Hello, McFly?) Don’t have too much fun posting on socials using #boroprom. Sike!

Check-In – Once you arrive, our dope faculty & staff will check you in. Please bring your ID.  We’ll be checking them when you arrive.  Trent Denson with Spread the Positive Productions will be recording a live podcast, so pop in and give a shout out like you’re on the red carpet!

Prom Photos – It wouldn’t be an 80’s prom without THE cheesy prom photo. We will have a Prom Photo Booth setup all night.

Dance floor – When you ascend the totally tubular staircase to the second floor, there you’ll find a DJ playing all the 80’s hits so you can dance the night away surrounded by movie classics on the video walls. And just a few steps away, you’ll find the hors d’oeuvres and the bar.

Bars & Drinks – Boro Prom has two signature cocktails.

We will also have some Beer from Cedar Glade Brews, Bourbon, Champagne, Red and White Wine.

Non-alcoholic drinks, such as water and soda, will be available.

Killer Hint #1

Tipping the bartenders is cool, stiffing is cruel.

Killer Hint #2:

I’ve fallen and I can’t get up! As if. Let’s all have fun and drink responsibly.

King & Queen – It wouldn’t be a prom without a King and Queen. Cast your vote at the bar throughout the evening and stay tuned for the big reveal at the end of the night.

Fundraising – The Boro Prom benefits Isaiah 117 House. Learn more about Isaiah 117 House…

“What if there was a home where children could go when they are removed? What if there was a safe place with friendly, loving volunteers? What if there was an environment with clean clothes, bath toys, healthy snacks, comfy beds, and toys? What if instead of cubicles, the traumatized child could see smiles, books, and snuggly blankets?

This is my dream for the Isaiah 117 House. Isaiah 1:17 says, “defend the cause of the fatherless.” I believe that is what God is calling me to do. I see a home with a girl’s bedroom, a boy’s bedroom, a fully stocked bathroom, playroom, nursery, etc. I see a team of volunteers, 2 at a time, on-call to greet “the least of these” when they need love most. I see a place always ready to take in the children of this region in their time of need and help with what is inevitably a traumatic transition. I believe this home has the potential to positively affect the children who are coming into custody in ways far beyond what we could ever imagine as well as support the DCS staff of this region.”

Handicap Access– If you or your guest require handicap access, please email us at Info@wildgoosechase.events. The Walnut House is more than happy to accommodate you for our event and we would like to let them know in advance.
